The important feature of Elsevier’s 'Science Direct' is the provision of abstract database that covers over 2000 biomedical science & technology journals. It provides access to many journals not covered by Medline, particularly in the areas of basic sciences, molecular biology, genetics and other biological sciences.
For using ‘Science Direct’, log on to the website www.sciencedirect.com and make use of the two options provided in the menu bar on the home page. To view the full text of a required title you can use the option ‘Browse’ and proceed further. Browse by title and by subject are provided on the home page. The ‘Search’ facility provides a window for advance options for accessing electronic content.
Also, you can conduct a quick search using the ‘search’ box on the home page to locate a particular journal. The ‘search’ box can also be used for exploring required full text content by using abstract/title words, author/ keywords or any other bibliographical details.

International Nuclear Information System (INIS) of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is a leading reference database for scientific literature published worldwide on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. It processes most of the world’s scientific and technical literature on a wide range of subjects including health. This database covers over 2.8 million bibliographic citations and abstracts of journal articles, scientific and technical reports, conference papers, books, patents, theses, laws, regulations and standards, and web documents, covering publications in 63 languages. It also includes a unique collection of over 850 000 full-text documents, scientific and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents, theses, and preprints.

Medline and its web interface ‘Pubmed’ are the much sought after link for medical professionals. This is a freely available bibliographic database contains references to journal articles in the life sciences with a concentration on biomedicine. Currently ‘Pubmed’ has a coverage over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. It also includes links to full text articles and other related resources.
