Since the inception of Regional Cancer Centre, the Library has been a repository of cancer information resources. With the engagement of a professional librarian in 1990, substantial effors have been made to build up a full-fledged oncology information resource centre adopting all sorts of technological developments. RCC library is carrying out a wide spectrum of information services to the users to update with newer trends in their respective fields.

           The library is located in the 6th floor of the main block and has 4500 sq. ft. space and the whole carpet area is air-conditioned. Various sections including circulation, reference, periodicals, photocopying, projection facility, computer workstations with internet access are functioning here to meet the varying demands of the users.

           The library is open to all academic users. However, the external users are requested to produce a letter of introduction from the institutions/ organizations concerned. Such users need to take Consultation membership and the charges currently fixed are-

                    Rs. 20/ for one day
                    Rs. 200/- for one month
                    Rs. 750/- for one year

           Consultation members can avail all the facilities and services of the library except borrowing privileges. Interested persons may contact the Inquiry desk in the library for more information.
